An Artivism Journey: Art Speaks

This program invites artists, both professional and amateur, to explore the intersection of art and activism through 3 online sessions. Each session will be led by different Israel artists who will share their personal stories of using their art as a form of activism and they will teach their unique styles, which will then be used to create our own art during the session. Participants will share their creations at the end of each session and they will be displayed online at the end of the program. This program, beginning in November 2025, is a collaborative journey to harness artistic expression between the Rehovot and Minneapolis communities. The artists featured are: Zeev Engelmayer, Hanoch Piven and Emilio Mogliner.

Ima and Me

The Ima & Me Program is a unique initiative that brings mothers, and daughters (ages 10-12) together to explore Jewish identity, values, and their connection to Israel through guided conversations and interactive activities. Through shared experiences, participants gain deeper insights into one another and develop a stronger sense of Jewish and personal identity.

A key feature of the program is its exchanges between Rehovot and Minneapolis, offering firsthand cultural immersion and the chance to build lasting friendships across communities. These exchanges enrich participants’ understanding of global Jewish life and lay the groundwork for future teen-focused initiatives. By combining connection, education, and empowerment, Ima & Me helps participants grow in confidence and deepen their shared commitment to Jewish heritage.

Registration begins in November 2025.

The books chosen have Jewish or Israeli authors and related themes. While the club is self-run, professional staff remain informed and involved.
